Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Temple is situated in hillock of Thiruparankundram. This is considered to be the first among the six army abodes of lord Muruga.Thirupparamkundram is one of the six abodes of Lord Murugan in Tamil Nadu, making it an important pilgrimage site for devotees of the deity. This sthala has the main deity. Sthalam and temple pond. Thiruparankundram found an important place among the most famous 275 thevara sthalams. It is situated 1050 feet above the sea level.
